The AWS Student Builder Group at RTMSSU — a campus hub to connect with builders, learn by shipping, and grow from your first EC2 instance to production-ready cloud architecture.
About AWS SBG RTMSSU
Powered by AWS:
Student Builder Group · RTMSSU Chapter
A student-led community at Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University, Nagpur founded by Aryan Vijaykar and backed by AWS. We build real projects on Amazon Web Services. No theory bloat just labs, workshops, and weekend hackathons.
Whether you're brand new to cloud or already chasing Solutions Architect cert, you'll find a track here. We meet weekly, ship monthly, and certify yearly.
Ways to build
Start at zero. Get hands-on with the four services every cloud engineer touches: IAM, EC2, S3, VPC. By week 8 you'll have deployed a three-tier web app to your own AWS account and walked away with the AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) cert in your pocket.
Skip the theory bloat. Build a RAG chatbot with Amazon Bedrock + OpenSearch, deploy a fine-tuned model on SageMaker, and ship a multi-agent app using Bedrock Agents — all with sponsored AWS credits.
Lambda · API Gateway · DynamoDB · EventBridge · Step Functions. Build event-driven systems in under 100 lines of code.
From "aws s3 mb" to Terraform-managed multi-region prod. Learn CI/CD with GitHub Actions + CodePipeline, observability with CloudWatch + X-Ray, and how to actually do blue/green deploys.
4-week guided study group for AWS exams — group mocks every Sunday, 1:1 review of weak areas, voucher discounts.

FAQ
Nope. Our Cloud Foundations track is built for absolute beginners — we start from "what is a server" and end with you deploying a real app. If you can use a browser, you can join.
Yes. We're part of the AWS Student Builder Group program, recognized by AWS Education. We get access to AWS credits, official curriculum, and direct support from AWS India.
Cloud Curious — show up when you can. Active Builder — about 4–6 hours/week including a project squad. Core team — closer to 10 hours/week, but you get massive ownership in return.
No catch. AWS sponsors most operating costs. The only "cost" is your time — and you'll get AWS credits, certs, mentors, and shipped projects in return.
Absolutely. We have members from ECE, Mech, Civil, MBA and even Arts. Cloud touches every domain — and diverse teams ship better products.
